Screendance Meeting in Venice and London
Trans(m)it: an International Film Festival (2016)
Trans(m)it was conceived to celebrate collaborative projects on a global scale. Project Trans(m)it co-directors received an overwhelming response of applicants from five continents and over ten countries. The festival included daily online screenings throughout the week, featuring works from around the world which celebrate collaboration, with a new and exciting line up every day. In addition, selected 'best of' films were featured both online and in a live screening (Philadelphia, PA USA) on day five of the festival. A trailer for the festival and excerpts from a review are below.
"I’ve never seen [a festival] executed with the thought and care Trans(m)it has put into this one. [...] The selection I previewed featured films from multiple countries, with vastly different styles. I was not let down by any of them." (Alex Strine for The Dance Journal)
